What next for Man Utd after Mourinho's departure? Zinedine Zidane, Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino, Laurent Blanc and Michael Carrick are the early favourites with the bookies.

Carrick is taking training today but will not be caretaker manager. My guess is they have to get someone in as caretaker who knows how the club works and the way Utd have played in the past If they get Steve Bruce or Roy Keane in as caretaker then it is likely for me they will move for either Zidane or Pochettino in the summer. To me, the 'Special One' tag that Mourinho has always long claimed as being his, has gone forever.

It was always assumed that Zidane was Utd's first choice replacement

as carrick is going to be caretaker till end of the season more likely Zidane wil still be in the running gives him time to prepare.
