Yeah it's a close one alright! I think where you come from would clinch it though. You won't find many brazilians choosing best same as many you won't find many Irish who'd choose pele.

in my opinion, not that anyone ever takes any notice of it, i think george best was the most talented footballer alot of people have seen BUT like ronnie o sullivan in snooker i think he didnt fulfill the potential he had. ronnie should have won alot more like george best should have stayed at the top longer than what he did but like terry says in his mid to late 20's his off the pitch antics got the better of him, shame really but he still produced glimpses on genius. its a shame really that when theres someone so talented and it all goes wrong but i think he enjoyed his life apart from towards the end. if best was in escape to victory he wouldn't even pass pele the ball
