Aliens: Colonial Marines

this long awaited game finally comes out next tuesday 12th february and ive already pre ordered my xbox 360 copy of the extermination edition. looks to be a really good 1st person shooter which is set after alien 3 where a squad of colonial marines investigates what happened on the sulaco and lv-426

Might get the Wii U version as i heard it's meant to be the ultimate version of it.

yeah have heard the same myself, like how the wii-u game pad becomes the motion tracker. ive got an xbox360 so getting that version of it with the extra content from the extermination edition. im a massive fan of the alien franchise and this is shaping up to be a great addition to it

Hopefully this is the game i've been waiting for since i was like 10 years old. The AvP games weren't bad, but i've always wanted a straight up Aliens game series that is actually good.

got it this morning and had a quick go this evening and so far so good. a good solid shooter that recreates the drama, tension and action that made aliens the film the scifi classic that it is. graphics are good, controls are good and quick to pick up and the sound effects are spot on and are just like how they are in aliens

so far 7/10

this game is toilet. it's garbage. it looks and plays like a ps2 game. why is it so hard to make a decent game out of the alien and predator franchises? it's ridiculous.

go look at fps like far cry 3 or crysis 3. they make games like this seem like they were made in the 80s.
