Red Dwarf New Shows.

Finally after a 10 year wait some new episodes of The Dwarf,i was wondering if there are any fellow Dwarfers on the forum who like me are literally counting the minutes till the new shows air on April 10 at 9pm on Dave.Some info ( rumours ) on the shows there are going to be four half hour episodes Ep1, is going to be a making of the specials, Eps2 & 3 are going to be part 1 & 2 of the special ( that will have a conclusion to the ending of series 8 ),Ep 4 will be a clip show with a twist (?).It's also said that if it's well received there may be a new series ( fingers crossed ) and they are still saying the movie is still a possibility ( check the weather forecast to see if hell has frozen over ).

Cant wait for the shows to start! Dont know much about what they are planning other that that they filmed some of it on the set of Coronation Street.......should be interesting......gonna be watching the whole lot again over the weekend just to refresh my memory

My missus loves the show but i find it all a bit hit and miss,the only episode i could watch over and over again is Quarantine.

was a great show. impressive what could be done on a tiny budget. not holding out much hope of the new episodes being any good but it will be nice to see them back

i love this show cant wait for it to start again hope they do a bit of a recap tho cant remember what happened last time its been a while

time for me to break out the dvd's again i feel

The first few series' were very very funny, but towards the end of its run on BBC2 it was really poor and in the end I just stopped watching.

I hope these new eps are a return to form, I'll be watching unless it clashes with Doctor Who on Easter Sunday

I think I must have been one of it's biggest fans back in the day, but I agree with Watty it did go a bit lame towards the end what with Kryten quoting "Space Corp Directives" every episode.

Shame the film didn't happen but if it did I hope they keep the same cast, it just wouldn't be the same without them. I even managed to meet one half of Grant/Naylor and got him to sign my books. And for any one who hasn't read them you should they are so funny especially when the sheep prostitute winks suggestively at Lister.
