County Cricket 2013 Season

Well the final pieces of the jigsaw have been completed. Congrats to Northants who join Champions Lancs in promotions to Div 1. Commiserations to Derbyshire who join Surrey as the relegated sides who will be playing Div 2 cricket next season.
Thanks to all here who have made this an interesting thread to discuss the season on, even though I only joined you for the last few games!

Sorry to see Derbyshire relegated, but it was always going to be a struggle to survive in division one with their limited resources. Nice to see Warwickshire finishing in the top 3 for the third season running, hopefully with our full squad available we will be able to regain the title.

Fantastic knock by Darren Stevens today 202 not out in a total of 418-8 as Kent beat Div. 2 Champs Lancs by 2 wickets. End of season games don't have to be boring and the match was a great advert for 4 day cricket.

Thankful that Somerset avoided the drop from CCL1 eventually!

With Sussex win against Champions Durham,Warwickshire finished 4th.

Hmm...very sad but 4th is better than nothing i suppose.
