I personally have never seen Damiao play apart from small bits. So i know nothing about him apart from when i see Spurs always linked to him.

But i remember reading a journalist who had spoke to the scout from a top 4 Premier League club and the scout said ''I have scouted Damiao for a long, long time now and he is completely over-rated. He's a big guy, he can finish a little but has no first touch and is way too slow to compete in the PL. Nobody will actually buy him for more than £10m unless they have not done their homework properly. He's a donkey 100%!''

Lol!! That scout could look like Nostradamus or like a complete mug in a few years time.

Think he's scored about 100 goals in 130 odd games. Saw him on ESPN two or three times and at the Olympics, he's not the quickest which could put a few off but he's a goalscorer. He times his runs well in behind, reminded me a bit of Ronaldo the way he ghosted in at times...

I'd take him for the price their asking for sure.

That scout needs a new job hes watching the wrong player! The only reason he is not in Brasil team recently is from injury. He will be in our world cup squad for sure.

I was really hope porto were going to sign him, but is strange for them to buy a player over 15m euro.
