Karen Black (1939 - 2013)

Actress Karen Black has passed away at the age of 74 in Los Angeles. She was perhaps best known for her appearances in cult films Easy Rider (1969) and Five Easy Pieces (1970) but appeared in over a 100 movies in a career spanning 4 decades. RIP Karen.

Not very old for hollywood people at 74, but she had cancer. Unusual looking woman, it always looked as if she was a bit cross eyed but she wasn't.

She was the best female James Bond Baddy that never was.

Members of this forum of an age will remember Karen as the girlfriend of Jack Nicholson in "Easy Rider" Certainly had her own unique style, which I always found appealing. R.I.P. Karen.

She was one of those character actresses who you saw popping up in so many films and TV shows from the 60s, 70s and 80s, but despite an Oscar nomination many people couldn't have put a name to her face, yet when her death was announced they would have recognised her.
