Smell the coffee guys. Of course they're not interested in all the fan-boy positive comments made on here, they couldn't give a shit about their fan-base. They're just regarded as mugs to exploit. The sooner all these sad idiots stop giving them their money for nothing, the sooner we might get to a situation where it takes honesty and a genuine wish to provide a good service to succeed.

Here's a quick summary for those who prefer the digested version: A Swiss investment fund that they put just under half a mil into is being liquidated by it's managers. Cellcast were expecting just over £750k from it recently - all to be put back into the business to aid cash flow. The fund has missed the first date set for its return but Cellcast are assuring that they will see the full money shortly. They add, again reassuringly, that they have plenty of cash reserves already (some £718k) to keep the business operating in the meantime.

Interestingly, Cellcast also felt the need to update on the more general functioning of their business while giving out this info. They crow that they have returned to operating "profitably" during the second half of 2017 (since June 30th). Perhaps tellingly they once again only mention that the online side of the business is "doing well".

The meagre amount that we can draw from this info is perhaps obvious: Cellcast were a little nervous, maybe, at the negative impact the last report may have given but it would seem that any changes that they (BS?) have made since around June will have been judged as a net success. There may be small localised tweaks to things they don't perceive as working going forward but it's very likely now that the general trends of what we've been seeing on their shows will remain constant through the first half of 2018. Expect the same style scheduling, presentations and promotions, and more of 'em!

At BS they will be thinking that they have largely hit out the new way forward. Maybe if they do get this cash back we might see further babe recruitment or more intricate roamable sets! A little investment up on screen instead of stripping away all the time? Radical I know.

^ Yep, if their online 'push' is 'working' (from their point of view), then there's little/no hope of any (much needed, IMO) improvement on the 'main shows'; in fact, they're probably only going to continue their downward spiral.
