Why suspend the player and fine the club? That suggests that some rule has been broken.

It's tough but Legia should have known the rules it may have been an oversight by someone but that is no excuse.

Newspapers in Poland are reporting that Legia Warsaw's appeal has been thrown out, although UEFA themselves have not yet made any statement.

I know that rules are rules but I feel that if Celtic get through to the group stages of Champion League after losing a tie 6-1, it will devalue the tournanent

Surely the other teams in their group will have no arguments, always nice to have a sure 6 points in the bag

It's now been officially confirmed that UEFA have turned down Legia Warsaw's appeal.

I think that Legias appeal to the CAS will be successful, i think the decision is on monday sometime.

It was good of the Court of Arbitration for Sport to fast track Legia Warsaw's appeal, otherwise even if they end up winning the appeal it would have been too late anyway.

well thankfully your wrong mate, celtic will continue in the cl this season. i did feel sorry for leggia but after their negative campaign against celtic i couldn't give 2 fucks about them. good riddance!
