CAS has rejected Legia Warsaw's bid to be reinstated in the Champions League, but will continue to arbitrate on the case with a final decision expected within 3 months. Legia Warsaw therefore play in the Europa League this season and they meet Aktobe of Kazakhstan on Thursday.

Legia Warsaw respond to Celtic's elimination from the Champions League.

Knocked out for the second time and that performance says that Celtic are not good enough for the Champions League anyway. The Europa League is more fitting.

why would you hope that? legia are the one's who did wrong. celtic have been very dignified through the whole situation, unlike legia.

The way Celtic have played is shocking against legia, and then loosing to Maribor, they deserve to be beat again if they are playing football like that.

I didn't agree with the decision UEFA took, just my opinion.

Nice that Celtic were dignified enough to lose last night. Takes a special club. Can't understand why those Legia chaps didn't take matters in a more dignified manner and congratulate Celtic.

nobody expects their congratlations, but do they have to be complete cunts about it all. they're focussing their anger in the wrong place. get mad at uefa, cas or the incomptant employee who made the error. that's my point. was the punishment harsh, yes. are celtic a bad team at the moment, yes. but blaming them for what happened and hoping they get smashed is wrong in my opinion.

Don't think they're being cunts at all. Just making a valid point. Football did win in the end and hoping Celtic get smashed is no bad thing in my opinion.
