isp's cannot legaly limit the speed of any website over another. if they do they will face heavy fines.

etv however can decide to limit the amount of bandwidth they purchase. meaning they can limit the amount of visitors to there website. but this has to be there choice isp's cant make that decision for them by not providing the bandwidth.

^^ But isp's CAN and DO throttle their bandwidth especially at peak times.

Should not affect hanky-wanky channels tho.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but ETV have taken yet another step to full PPV only.

Whereas you can still, AFAIK, purchase an individual webshow they now have a monthly subscription model of $30. For those that are 'hooked' then this is cheaper although there is not a 'special' every night. Also when you bought the single show you could watch it again for free when the recorded version appeared some days later. With the subscription, you get a 50% discount for the catch-up service.

I have barely watched a few minutes of this lately. It's a sad imitation of what was before. Even the older girls look so dis-interested. Dumbed down to make the PPV stuff attractive.

The subscription model got already terminated after 3 weeks.
Official explanation: Not much interest from the viewers.
And since the beginning of January the models are only topless in the night shows.

I never did check to see if it was still available. I simply reacted to a message I just read.

The topless only would be self-imposed. As I said, dumbing down to promote the PPV.

But the PPV is their last card. And even buying single shows can prove expensive. . If it finally fails then it will be a blank screen.

I wrote many times about PPV back from the early days when Eurotic was just a promo service for INXTC. You bought their card to watch that but no one then called in. People only called in to Eurotic and wondered why the girls were there but could not see what was being promoted. Almost back to 2005.
