PS4 vs Xbox One

i am thinking about buying a PS4 or an Xbox One witch one is better

It all depends on what the machine for and also the exclusives games on each machine, the PS4 is more cheaper console and out of the two is the most powerful and at the moment the is selling the most and is pure hardcore gaming machine. The Xbox One now has decent game packs at some good prices now and some of them come bundled with Titan Fall, its not quite as powerful as the PS4 but is more of multi media machine especially with the use of the kinetic. With both machines you'll have pay to play online, personally i chose the PS4 because it more was powerful and most importantly there were certain exclusive games that i want for it. Look at the future games and the current ones available for both machines and then make your choice of which one suits your needs.

Or if you like online multiplayer (not for me but??) it comes down to what your friends are using and you buy the same.

Both have their strengths. They both have the same processor but the PS4 has 50% more Graphics processing power so can do better graphics on paper. However games developers, for the first time will be able to write games to each consoles' architecture so the difference might not be that great. The xbox has had a price reduction and is only about 10 to 20 quid more now. It also has the kinect system and is a full media centre rather than just a games machine. Look at reviews online to get an idea too

I am sorely tempted by a PS4. Hmmmmm shall I or shan't I?.

All depends on whether you want a more powerful console and most important the game exclusive. I have Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and you can tell the difference between the PS4 and the Xbox version. Anyway am probably biased as i have the PS4 lol.

Hey I got the ps4 and not just for the increase in power & xbox ones media focus on the states but also because of the way Microsoft treats the consumer (US) is incredibly insulting, sony have shown a much smarter customer focus.

Microsoft have gone to great lengths to imrove their customer service for the xbox1. Buying up thousands of servers too to ensure that online gameplay is as perfect as possible. The PS4 is undoubtedly the better games only machine but the Xbox1 could be the future of the home entertainment system.
Using the hand gestures and voice commands through the kinect system is really impressive and negates the need of a tv remote entirely once mastered. The PS4 is as the advert says, for the gamers. The Xbox one is aimed at the heart of the family's social interaction.

I have to say I bought the xbox1 a couple of weeks ago and have not been disappointed in any way so far. I will be getting a PS4 in a couple more weeks so will do a comparison for anyone interested.
The PS4 might be the more powerful machine for games but I made my decision based on available games. Forza 5, Ryse and last but no means least, Titanfall. The xbox is worth buying just for that game alone! It also has some outstanding games to look forward to later this year and into early 2015 such as Halo.
There has been a lot said about the graphics but I have to say if you buy an xbox 1 you will not be disappointed; it truly is next gen and does shove out games in 720p and enhanced 1020p.
The xbox1 interface is very good too and I never get sick of talking to the machine. It even responds correctly about 90% of the time. For example:
Xbox on... Machines turns on
Xbox off... Machine turns off
Xbox sign in...signs into online account
Go to... Takes you to any game, app, TV show etc.
However, I'll be even more impressed if it after saying "xbox, what flying fuck are you doing. Are you deaf", it learns to say sorry.
Overall it's well worth buying but as with the PS4 it really needs a bigger and better games catalogue to get the most out of it.

Apart from fifa which is brilliant what other games are a must have on the ps4?
