Neymar doesn't fit into the Barca setup, he needs to play off a main striker.

Bale is the 3rd player to score for Real Madrid in the European Cup Final and the Spanish Cup Final in the same season. The others are Ferenc Puskas and Raul, so it's not surprising that Marca was gushing in its praise: “He scored the winner in the Spanish Cup final; he scored the winner in the Champions League final. Bale is already a Real Madrid legend.”

It doesn't matter how skilful he is or isn't. He can stand in the middle of the pitch like a statue for 89 minutes but if he scores enough match winning goals, especially in important matches he will be popular with his teamates, club and fans....running around, committing annoying and petulant fouls, diving and lying prone on the floor like Neymar won't win anything.
