Destiny

Just got given my code for the Destiny alpha can't wait to try it out .

Been playing game for a hour or more and its not a bad game takes a while to get used to, it feels like a cross between Halo not as shock as it by the same people and cross between Borderlands and the Mass Effect game. You can upgrade your characters amour and weapons and stats. The graphics do look good but a little rough around the edges but bare in mind its only the Alpha build of game and theres still a long way to go before it goes gold build.

I am in line for the beta test on ps4 when it is released in early July so it will be interesting to see how that compares to the alpha. As it is getting a lot of attention at the moment due to the developers being bungie , I'm guessing as with all hyped games it will not be as good as the expectation.

pre ordered this weeks ago with the promise that the beta would be available from 17th July. Thats today so been on the next gen virtual paperweight that is the PS4 to download it... and sweet fuck all. Getting a message saying the site is down due to maintenance!
PS4; a great machine in principle but still nothing next gen to play on it. What a pile of shit when you consider its fast approaching a year since it was released. Does anyone know how you contact the honourable sons of bitches on psn? Very disillusioned with the PS4 as a whole.

Thanks for that info. Hardly seems worth bothering to be honest. I have not received any codes but simply tried to access via my download section on the PS4. If its not available on 21st and 22nd and ceases on 27th then will have less than 2 weeks to test it out. Based on the article you posted it also seems that it is unavailable due to its own popularity!
