Got through episode 3.1 It's a shame that they introduced a new bad guy businessman almost immediately, they could have just photocopied dialogue from previous seasons. Some intriguing mystery beats set up, and they were fairly subtle about showing Kara getting over her loss. I guess Lena will lost control of CatCo later anyway & etc.

In Ep 3 “Far From The Tree” Actor Carl Lumby who plays J'onn J'onzz: The Martian Manhunter father he actually voiced the same character Martian Manhunter in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited animated series.

Ep 7 “Wake Up” Season 3 Synopsis

When Winn (Jeremy Jordan) and the team discover an alien ship has crash landed deep underwater beneath National City, Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is called in to investigate. Meanwhile, Hank (David Harewood) attempts to bond with his father, Myr’nn (guest star Carl Lumbly). Samantha (Odette Annable), eager for some understanding of the changes she has been experiencing, looks to her estranged mother, Patricia Arias (guest star Betty Buckley), for answers. Actor Jesse Rath has been cast as Brainiac 5 the character from the 31st Century and part of the Legion of Superheroes. His gonna travel through time to help Supergirl battle Regin. The last time the character Brainiac 5 was seen on screen was in season 10 of Smallville the 200th Ep titled “Homecoming” and was played by James Marsters. Brainiac 5 will appear in Ep 10 and will be a recurring role and possibly romance with Kara.

Ep 10 will be titled “Legion of Superheroes”

Literally just finished on Sky1, nice little nod/flashback to the very first episode and yes it is a darker season compared to the first 2 seasons.

Very interesting ending carrying on the story arc for the big bad of s3 Reign

KO'd ep 3.2 with the psychic bank robber chick. An intriguing a-plot, amusing to see that having introduced a big baddie last week, he was totally absent this. Then there was the rile with Lena deciding to take CatCo over more than Kara or Jimmy Olsen would have wanted. And the return of Ruby & her mum. And an out-of-nowhere cliff-hanger.

Going OK.
