Fair comment, but who, other than car deelers, are going to have the time and money to go to America.

Basically now we are just going to have to treat it like top gear, mostly cars we will never have but entertaining nonetheless.

I want them to take apart an Audi A4, we had a TT.

Mike Brewer has done a spin-off series called 'Wheeler Dealer: Trading Up'. He travels around the world gradually trading up from a very basic Indian car until he purchases a top of the range sports car bought in Dubai.

My dad is a huge fan of the show, but he isn't too happy hearing that they intend to focus on what he calls "Yank Tanks" for a whole series; which is the very reason why he won't watch shows like Overhaulin'.

He stopped watching Top Gear years ago as it's become; and again I quote him here; "Nothing to do with cars I could ever buy, and all about those three overpaid knobs egos!"

I noted while watching a recent episode with him that Edd is actually one of the producers, which would surely mean he has far more input into what cars are done, and how much is spent on them...? I guess they actually make a profit for the production company by selling it to Discovery; or making it on their behalf; depending on how these things work today..?

I believe that the workshop/garage used in the programme is owned by Ed China.
