R.I.P. Lynsey de Paul

Singer songwriter Lynsey de Paul has died at only 64. What a terrible shock. She was one of my heartthrobs during the 1970's.

I gutted at the news.

Lynsey was a gorgeous blonde girl who made beauty spots cool.
She also sang 'Rock Bottom' in the 1977 Eurovision Song Contest in the years when we expected to finish in the top 5.

When she sang her hit 'Won't Somebody Dance With Me', I was heard to shout out loudly "Put me down for the slow smoochy"

She died of a suspected brain haemorrhage

Awful news. Beautiful, talented lady. May she rest in peace and have the angels sing to her.

shocking news to hear a wonderful singing talent taken before her time. I remember the song @Rock bottom' very well was a duet I believe. May the angels look after her.

That shocked me more than I think it would. Seems to be loads this year dying and yong as well.
