Given the nominees I expect Harry Kane to win.

There are numerous sports people in this country who are worthy of the lifetime achievement. I have great respect for Billie Jean King too but I cannot agree with this decision.

Well that was a surprise. I thought Team of the Year was going to go to England Netball Team but they ended up as the Moment of the Year. Gareth Southgate was Coach of the Year, which was a huge surprise because I thought Tracey Neville deserved it for the England Netball win in Australia but this is the public we're talking about and as such the top three were 3) Harry Kane, 2) Lewis Hamilton and SPOTY was...GERAINT THOMAS(Cycling) I am surprise that Dina-Asher Smith didn't make the top three, but I fully agree that Billy Monger was a worthy winner of the Helen Rollason Award.

I think the nomination came a bit early for Dina, she has the world championships next year and the Olympics the year after to make her mark.

Harry Kane didn't win but he's claimed it anyway.

The finale was a bit weird
On the stage there were about 12 very tall netball girls in their high heels
Being dwarfed by the girls there were all the finalist, Billy Monger and Billie Jean King.
And at the from was Geirant Thomas holding the trophy.

And then the production team decided to be played out by George Esra.

Geirant wasn't comfortable having to just hold the trophy in the air for the length of the song. BBC the music wasn't needed

being played out by george ezra could never be a good thing... who the feck buys his lame boring music? id rather cut my wrists and dance the can can than listen to him chirping on inanely any more!! didn't help he did it while some nobody held aloft the spoty trophy... what he do again, ride a bike up a mountain in france or summat?
