Who really gives a damn?? This a typical example of how and why the BBC have got to the stage where there now needs to be a public debate about the future role (if any) of this over - indulged corporation. With programmes failing on just about every level, to meet a PSB standard, to keep this relic alive is ridiculous, It would be nice to see Hollie Doyle get it (for what it is worth) - to acknowledge there are other sports and other sports people that succeed - but we all know she wont! The mass bandwagons will go for Hamilton or Broad -While the BBC push Henderson. Call me cynical Wouldn't argue against Fury though!

We all know O'Sullivan isn't going to win it. Would be quite staggering if it wasn't Hamilton-super woke/BLM & this season became the most successful F1 driver ever.

Tyson Fury's posted a video on twitter asking the bbc to take him off the shortlist, saying he doesn't need their verification, and for his supporters not to vote for him.

that probably means the BBC won't cover his fights on radio if he is snubbing the awards
