If all Ofcom rules were scrapped would there be too much pussy on the shows?

If the Ofcom restrictions were removed tomorrow, the babeshows would go wherever the call volume takes them.

I can't know for sure, but my suspicion is that they would all end up looking like some permutation of Babestation Unleashed -- i.e. more expensive, but inferior porn to what you would find elsewhere on the Internet for free. And, as Joey says, with far fewer of the arrestingly beautiful glamour model types.

So my preference would be for Ofcom rules to be relaxed (a lot!) but not removed altogether.

I agree there won't be a rush towards full-on pussy shows (tho' one or two channels might choose to specialise in that direction).
I suspect not very much would happen to begin with. It's a bit like when prisoners are let out after a long spell inside, they're a bit cautious and some some don't even want to leave the cell! Both producers and (more importantly) the girls will be wary of doing much more and indeed some will be happy to carry on taking the p**s (naming no names!). In any case, it would be a shame if girls were pressured into showing more as we'd almost certainly lose lots of our favourites - after all, with some notable exceptions I think it's generally agreed there's an inverse relationship between good looks and how much a girl is prepared to show.
What would be great is if we could get back to somewhere more like 2009/10 where those girls who wanted to be more daring, do proper 2-4-1s etc could do so, and the public could vote with their remotes and phones i.e. get back to something slightly resembling customer choice. But then I was always the optimist!

The biggest turn-on on the babechannels for me is the teasing chance to seeing something you're not supposed to on the box. That teasing pussy slip was a staple on these channels a few years, keeping you on the edge of your seat. Especially from babes who don't usually show it, and if you're talking to them at the time, doing it for YOU lol.

I'd like to see Ofcom rules gone or relaxed to what they used to. But I wouldn't want TV shows turning into 24 hour Unleashed type shows with pussy wide open from minute one. Web shows & internet porn are already there for those who need to see pussy or fed up with the one indoors lol. But the TV babechannel USED to offer a different type of show even more teasing & erotic. That's what I want to see back.

I thought it might be fun to speculate on this around election time and it certainly provoked several interesting comments.

I don't have much to add to what has already been, very well, said but I thought it best to summarise the results and add my own personal view now the pole is over.

80% of forum members that voted (figure corrected for jimmyt's miscast vote) thought that they would be happy with the amount of pussy on display on the babeshows if Ofcom removed all their blocks on the channels. From the comments it seems that most thought that this would not be as a result of wall-to-wall pussy on display in the aftermath of such a change of heart, but that they took perhaps the more considered view that the babe's themselves would limit what they were prepared to show in such an event.

Now I agree with this view if we are talking short-term (straight after the scrapping of the rules) but I do think that (as Bandwagon said) we would overtime see a shift and change in personnel on the channels towards babes who were more inclined to 'flash the gash'. Personally I think this would be a shame. I think the babe channels would lose something by chasing their money in this direction. They would become simply another outlet for porn essentially. They would no longer be the babe channels that made me a fan in my eyes.

We all want to see Ofcom's rules relaxed but, just occasionally, I wonder if we should be careful as to exactly what we are wishing for instead.

...And maybe it is rose-tinted glasses to some extent but, like SteveHG and KerrAvon, it is the content levels (both for day and night shows) of 2010 that I crave the most. That is what I'd want from my babe shows if the current rules were no more.

I think a lot of the babes doing the shows currently wouldn't show full frontal on tv.

If the Ofcom rules were relaxed, then I think that babes Delta White or Tammy Oldham would be great to have back on the channels because they know how to really push the boundaries. With both of them having done porn, but also been babeshow regulars.

Keeping along the same theme, it would be good to have some completely fresh talent on the channels, who haven't been tainted by the self sanitizing crap the channels have been engaging in. Most of the 'new' signings are like robotic drones going through the motions, who lack a lot of the erotic tease factor that the babeshows legends of old had in abundance. Completely new girls could learn the business from scratch, in a viewer friendly way, which would encourage people to call In, rather than staying away.

I think most of the girls that refused to play along with Ofcom (Tammy was particularly annoyed by them) have simply left the shows. The rest have now capitulated.

The new breed have simply fitted in with what they see; instilled with the attitude by all around them. Unfortunately, Ofcom have now been around for so long that new babes and viewers/callers don't know any different. The channels are currently trading on that ignorance, and even encouraging it by blaming Ofcom for things that it has not instigated!

It's a sad state of affairs.

^ agree that's why I suggested a whole new set of fresh babes as well as some of the more established who wouldn't compromise the levels of their performance by toning down. Especially when we all know that Ofcom is just an excuse.
