They wouldn't be THAT stupid...would they? more like t be some far flung Asian syndicate who's trying to muscle in...or someone trying to strip the assets of adult TV for unknown reasons...

I don't think the babeshows are that lucrative, and it's only £120k.

the playboy tv chat web site has closed down today, when you go there it just redirects you to the RLC website

Can't say I've followed this too closely, but I'm confused here.
My understanding is that the 'deal' is between Playboy and Xpanded, RLC is a whole different company, and Xpanded are not taking any part of RLC over, unless I missed something.
I'm guessing the deal is actually more of a 'strategic partnership' than any sort of 'takeover' as well, similar to what Playboy had with RLC, so Xpanded's finances would probably be largely irrelevant.
Clearly RLC would be impacted enormously by the loss of this partnership, but I see nothing about them being 'taken over'.

is this more correct, or is the 'RLC takeover' right, can someone clarify?

That's how I see it. Despite the constant comments in this thread about RLC being finished, I can't see any reason why Xpanded would want to take them over. They get the EPG slots from Playboy and they already have their own studios and equipment, so what would they need from RLC?

Just looked at the playboy TV chat website and they now have two streams instead of four plus one for South Africa...
