Hope Rooney and the rest of the over paid England male team were watching and I bet their over paid asses they've hated BEING SHOWN HOW IT'S DONE by some of the best talented sportswomen EVER!! No team has worked harder than these ladies it is just brilliant that they matched & played the no.1 women's team, of the park!! They thoroughly deserve the red carpet treatment coming home!!! they may have not won the world cup but they have shown that you don't need massive pay packets & big headed egos to achieve what you want, to some people they may have under achieved, but its the way they have worked, the way they have picked themselves up in 72 hours to face possibly a bigger test than the final itself and with sheer work commitment and sheer bloody mindedness they have pulled off a history making victory and have given the national sport a massive shot in the arm and a massive boost for women's football now they deserve to have their home fixtures at Wembley for the next four years!!

That's an idiotic remark. The England men have always been very supportive of the England women and get behind them at every opportunity. Most of England's men would have been watching and no doubt enjoyed England's triumph (especially as it was against the Germans!)

the Annoying thing is that the next main tournament is the olympics where they would proberly would have been in with a good chance of medaling but they cant play because of the other home nations wont allow them to join up for the olmypics as Team GB. even though fifa keep telling them they are safe as seperate nations
