Forced by who exactly??,Lib Dems,old Chuka Umunna (who's been doing the rounds on tv this morning talking to anybody who can stay awake long enough to listen to him) & his one man crusade.The possible roadblocks along the way will be the Repeal Bill & the constant dithering with the negotiations.
It's hard to know which party Tories or Labour who is more divided over Brexit as with May a Remainer in a party that wants to leave & with Corbyn (who has never revealed how he voted on Brexit) suggestions are he was a leaver in a party who wants to remain.Corbyn who has always had a history with anti-eu views like the re-nationalizing of industries policies are frowned upon by the eu (one of Corbyn's manifesto pledges) & whatever Corbyn & McDonell say about Brexit contrast with Kier Starmer's view.
The Lib Dems & the Greens had a manifesto pledge on a repeat of the eu referendum & how did there votes hold up?not so well.And with 84% of the electorate in the election voted for parties that agreed to leave the EU so I don't think there will be an appetite for continous referendums until the government gets the result it wants scenario.

The Brexit negotiations are pretty obvious. Our government don't want to offer anything at all, so the EU only have to offer a small amount more to appear the more generous. We are going to lose out this way.

There you go, it's a 2 year transition period, and the UK will after all keep paying in money for now.

Meanwhile, the UK credit rating has gone down again from Aa1 to Aa2. Don't expect Brexit to put that right any time soon, since we're in an enormous debt hole that we'll be lucky to pay off by the next century.

Good luck to the Catalans I say. I would wish them it in Spanish, but my GCSE was a long time ago, and "buenas something" isn't really the same.

I am just beginning to think that the referendum was bloody pointless in the end

So Thezza and Juncker have agreed to "accelerate" talks. Perhaps not surprising when they're still deadlocked after several "once a month" attempts. I look forward to the UK continuing to pretend that it's the EU's fault rather than because the UK want to have it both ways.
