Still a better idea than Brexit

Apparently there been an agreement between the EU and the UK government that we shall have a Norway style trade deal after Brexit.

So freedom of movement and we will have no fucking say on the rules whats the fucking point

A 'Norway' style trade deal in which the '4 freedoms' have to be accepted without a say would be rejected outright by the Commons/MP's & certainly wouldn't be accepted by Guardian or Daily Mail readers as it's worse than the current deal & wouldn't respect the democratic vote.
I heard a few MP's on tv earlier today (both remainers & leavers) & they believe that a
'Canada' style deal looks the most likely option with a free trade deal on 'goods only' with the Government trying negotiate 'services' into the deal but will opt to pay the EU for 'services' otherwise, which I reckon is the more realistic outcome.

Jacob Rees-Mogg is kicking off again.

Whilst David Cameron (remember him? thought not) reckons Brexit hasn't turned out too bad.

Then again, since it doesn't start for another 14 months, that seems a bit presumptuous

^Merkel's power influence in the EU comes from Germany being the EU's biggest net contributor but she's a much weakened leader much like May as both of their vote share crashed & burned in their respected General Election's last year.Both are leaders in a hung parliament's where May being propped up by the DUP Merkel's Christian Democratic party look to be propped up by Martin Schulz's Social Democratic Party has weakened her with old Emmanuel Macron looking to fill her hob-nail boots as the EU's most powerful leader.I'm no fan of May but I'm even less of Mutti Merkel.

I just wonder with old Theresa May sitting on the fence for so long over Brexit that she will employ an official splinter remover to remove them from her arse (due to Government cuts the person who gets the job will have to provide their own tweasers)

True, Merkel is on slippery ground just now, but she HAS been leader for over a decade. Thezza has spent the last 9 months making one disaster after another.

But Merkel looks likely to recover and remain a while longer. Whilst Thezza is like one of those magic tricks where you wonder why you can't see the strings holding her up.
