WM Recorder - help pls

Hi,

I've been using WM recorder 15 to download the streams from rampant.tv for a little while now. Noticed the other day they've released version 16, so I've downloaded it and it doesn't work.

Re-installed version 15 and during the installation it came up with an error message - "cannot open port 554- stream capturing not possible" or something to that effect) and now version 15 is also broken.

Uninstalled everything and re-installed both versions separately and tried 1 before installing the other, neither will work and both give me the port 554 error. Tried going in my router settings and enabling the port, didn't work.

Anyone have any ideas please? Or ideas of replacement software (I really just want something easy that'll download the streams in the background, that I don't need to change ip address or update files etc every month).

I have used this for recording babeshows streams since version 3 and it is now up to version 6 i totally would not use any other software i gave up using wm recorder on version 12 due to issues.

dont waste your time with wmrecorder its garbage.
the best option is to use a network sniffing tool and rtmpdump. it takes a little more skill and finesse to get it to work but 1s you do you will be able to use them to get any links you want.
from netflix to free to air babeshows.

thanks for the advice, have downloaded Replay Media Catcher and it appears to work atm, so will stick to that for the time being
