Pakistan won by 49 runs

Nathan McCullum and BJ Watling both scored 22 runs but Nathan McCullum strike rate was 104.76 which is a lot better better then BJ Watling his was only 61.11 which is absolutely shambolic in twenty20 cricket.

At one stage India were 32/4 but then Rahul Dravid shared an partnership of 125 runs with Yuvraj Singh who then went for 68 and with Mahendra Singh Dhoni he shared an partnership of 224 runs fianally he went for 110 Rahul Dravid is unbeaten on 177*.

India 426 all out off 104.5 overs Rahul Dravid 177

Sri Lanka 275/3 off 70 overs

Rahul Dravid didn't add any runs on his overnight score and Sri Lanka put 74 runs for the 1st wicket and then Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkarra put 115 runs for the 2nd wicket i have to say this is a flat pitch not offering much for the bowlers but its early days.

Sri Lanka only just lost 2 wickets in a whole day and Mahela Jayawardene shared 128 runs for the 4th wicket with Thilan Samaraweera who went for 70 and the Jayawardene's have shared unbroken 216 runs for the 6th wicket.

The 2 Jayawardene's shared 351 runs for the 6th wicket which is a new world record and Mahela departed for 275 runs where as Prasanna scored 154* which is his career best score.

Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir shared 233 runs for the 1st wicket Virender Sehwag went for 131 and Gautam Gambhir shared 170 runs for the 2nd wicket with Rahul Dravid and Gautam Gambhir went for 167 then at the close of the first day Rahul Dravid on 85* with Sachin Tendulkar 20*.

New Zealand lost a few early wickets but Martin Guptill and Ross Taylor shared 117 runs for the 3rd wicket but then Martin Guptill departed for 60 and then Ross Taylor departed for 94 the score was then 194/4 but another mini collapse mean't there were 211/6 but Brendon McCullum and Daniel Vettori shared unbroken 65 runs for the 7th wicket.
