Agreed. The good thing though is that we have not lost all of the vids on this forum. I was preparing to reupload everything.

Even though it has not shut down, I will carry on using openload instead as there is no time limit on the videos. Plus their website is a lot easier to use as well, compared to sendvid.

I've had a look at openload's FAQs and they say that videos will be deleted after 30 or 60 days due to inactivity. Whether this means inactivity on the part of the account of the person who uploaded them or whether it means the videos not being viewed I'm not sure.

Can someone who uses openload help me out please. Had a look, and can see how to upload and get a link to a download page. Do you need to create an account to get the codes, to be able to embed the video files. Thanks.

you need to make an account, then on the left pane you can upload a single file from the user panel or multiple files from the multi upload page

And just to touch on the inactivity mentioned in a previous post, it's inactivity of individual files, either downloaded or watched. There's no warning either, you'll just log in and there'll be gone.

Haven't checked my account for some time so was staggered to see how many views one of my old vids has had. Almost hit 100,000.


There are a few others with around 10,000 but I think someone must have copied the link on to another site for it to go this high.

i now have almost 12000 videos in sendvid and i have posted about 4700 videos here
