What a difference a day make.. 459 runs were scored in the England v South Africa match but today Pakistan could only manage to make 118 in their 18 over rain affected game.
But India are also struggling at 16-1 off 3 overs.

India got home OK in the end, winning by 6 wickets with 13 balls to spare. Kohli steered them to their target with 55 not out on a raging turner of a wicket in only 37 balls.

Nobody mentioned it on Friday with the excitement of the England match, but New Zealand added to their opening win by beating Australia by 8 runs. New Zealand 142/8 and Australia replying with 134/9 means that New Zealand are now terrifically placed to make the semi-finals.

Another good effort by Afghanistan today, making 172 in reply to 209/5 by South Africa. It's the highest score ever made by an associate team in a T20 against a test playing team, although the pitch was very similar to that of the England-South Africa game and had plenty of runs in it.

West Indies win again, an impressive 7 wicket victory against Sri Lanka who were restricted to 122/9, and Chris Gayle wasn't even needed. As he had a hamstring problem he was dropped down to #6 in the order, but West Indies wrapped the game up without him in 18.2 overs.

Bangladesh 156/5, Australia 157/7 in 18.3 overs. A scrappy win for Australia who haven't looked like contenders so far.

In a tense match England Women won their second match by 2 wickets.

India Women 90-8 in 20 overs.
England Women 92-8 in 19 overs.

England manage 142/7 against Afghanistan, after being 57/6. Ali with 41 not out rescued the innings, if 142 counts as rescued.

Yes it was 57/6 and England were also 85/7 from 14.3 overs. Ali and Willey added a stand of 57 at the end to give England a chance.

Whilst we're waiting to see if England can defend 142 against Afghanistan, congratulations to New Zealand who have become the first team to qualify for the T20 semi finals with a 22 run win against Pakistan. New Zealand made 180/5 and Pakistan replied with 158/5.
