RIP Reg Grundy

Just seen that Reg Grundy has died aged 93 tv producer who created some of the best Aussie Soaps of the 70's and 80's including Young Doctors, Prisoner Cell Block H and Neighbours

as a kid in the late 70's and 80s being forced to watch aussie soaps like young doctors and the sullivans should hate him

Also co produced the Abba movie in 1977

must have been popular his name is used by aussies in like a cockny rhyming slang Reg Grundies - undies

Icon of Aussie telly, certainly. I don't recall The Sullivans and The Young Doctors as being that bad, actually. Certainly given that Neighbours and H&A are still on!

Don't forget sons and daughters, I can still remember that theme tune after all these years. Someone posted a tweet that I think Reg would have liked.

sons and daughters! it was before neighbors right? i always remember your man john out of sons and daughters, he recently rocked up on modern family when phil visits oz and has an epiphany at the end, he's kinda like a aussie spirit guide or something.

sure channel 5 reran some of sons and daughters in its early days
