As Tillerson seems one of the better members of Trump's team (which I accept is a relative assessment), and the Middle East is not being well held by Trump so far, then it seems this had better be a storm in a beer mug rather than an indication of the ugly underneath of the iceberg.

According to research carried out by a former MI6 spy, Russia vetoed Romney being made Sec of State and installed Rex Tillerson instead. Romney called Russia America's greatest threat during his 2012 campaign and Tillerson is a friend of Putin's with business links going back years so it makes sense. Christopher Steele the spy in question was hired privately by Trump's opponents to do some dirt digging so no doubt people will flag this up as evidence it is all fake however he has met with Robert Mueller's team so it will be up to him to decipher whether or not it is legitimate we will have to sit tight on it

Either way he has managed to piss off both Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, I can only imagine that Christopher Steele will be getting a cup of tea from Vlad sometime in the near future
