Following the revelations that David Beckham,s carefully cultivated image was all about getting himself a Knighthood and he was allegedly furious about not getting one, is anyone surprised by this?

least he is being honest seriously what celebrity does charity work without wanting to get publicity or stuff like honours out of it. If they say they do they are lying !!

Almost all celebrities who get involved in charity work are just out to enhance their image and humanitarian credentials. Many insist on private jets, luxury hotels, expenses and personal assistants before they will even think about turning up. Always had my suspicions that the Beckhams image was all front and no substance.
