RIP Tara Palmer Tomkinson

R.I.P Tara

Very sad news.

I had a huge crush on the young Tara - such a great sense of humour. If you can find some of her early interviews, they're a hoot. I'm just sad she never seemed to find much happiness in her personal life.

Tara died peacefully in her sleep due to a perforated ulcer and peritonitis according to a family statement

Mate, you don't die peacfully in your sleep with a perforated ulcer.

You role around in fucking agony with that, it's literally an hole busting open in your stomach and all the contents spewing out.

Stomach ulcers are among the most painful things you can get.

Something doesn't seem right here to me.

No, a doctor was explaining it this morning on the radio. When it actually bursts, the pain goes away and you think you're ok. However that's when the peritonitis starts to set in and is fatal if you don't realise you need immediate medical attention.

May be the crash the builders heard was when it popped and she drop something, then the pain went away.

Still seems odd there wa sno mention of it till now, but then, people who do party hard can get such complaints.

Silent Majority already gave an experts explanation for it, no other is needed.

Personally I've never heard of a painless peritonitis, but my degree was biology and Chemistry with only a small about of human biology, so I'm not going to argue with a medic.

I can only assume not only was poor Tara one of the very rare people to die from it but one of the exceptionally rare people who have no pain.

I'd say for a woman as young as she was is even just as rare
