It's no wonder Metallica can't get in the top 40 singles any more, is it? Wink

Maybe the so-called Official Charts Company will admit that when an artist has 14 of the top 15 singles, then something has gone badly wrong with the bloody thing?!

Official Singles Chart R.I.P.. It's a bloody farce nowasays.
Anything is called a single. Ed Sheeran occupies 16 of the Top 19 tracks.
Time the OCC woke up to how the charts should be compiled.
By the way did anyone listen to the chart show today on Radio 1. Did they play over an hour of Ed Sheeran songs.

its because of streaming services like spotify. must admit i havent bought a cd in about 2 years cos of streaming. Even though takes over 125 streams = 1 bought single which shows you how many streaming

do they actually sell CD singles anymore ?

i know they wanted 22£ in HMV for his album on bloody Vinyl Tongue

All i can say least it was someone talented like Sheeran and NOT FUCKING BIEBER or ONE DIRECTION !!!

Much as Katy Perry's Chained to the Rhythm seems to owe a fair bit to Sia's Cheap Thrills.

He's #1 again, thanks to a judicious use of Beyoncé in a new version of the same song that's been available for months, plus another version also coming out.

But with SEVENTEEN Christmas oldies in the top 40, I think Ed is the lesser of 2 evils really.
