Week 28 Results

Thank you to everyone who took part in this week's matches. I thought I'd put the scoring results and tables up after this round so everyone can see where we're at in the interval of a busy week.

The top scorer in this round was lancealot790 with 10 points. The lead at the top of the overall standings is now shared by two players - Stillroom Rock and The Special Juans both have 213 points. There's a large group of players snapping at their heels though so no chance to rest on your laurels as the finish line draws nearer.

This week's double-header continues with round 29 beginning on Saturday at 1230. Not too late for anyone who didn't post for round 28 to join in for round 29. The fixtures can be found in this post so put your scores up between now and 1230 Saturday and I'll be happy to record them. There is a chance of some postponed fixtures because of the weather - if this happens the affected matches will appear again in a future round.

Once again thank you to all that have took part during the season and good luck for the rest of it!

Week 29 Results

Thank you to all who took part. A high scoring round saw seven players achieving double figures in their totals and other players came very close to getting a correct result in all ten fixtures.

Stillroom Rock was the highest scorer with 17 points. It equals the record so far this season for the most correct scores in one week (5), plus two correct results. He now leads the overall standings by 11 points with nine rounds remaining.

The fixtures and kick-off times for week 30 are below. It begins next Saturday at 12.30 and with some local derbies and Premier League rivalries to be played, the tide could still turn again in this crucial time of the season.

It goes without saying now that every point really does count - so as we enter the home stretch my advice is to take as much time as you need up to the kick-off times to consider your scores. Good luck everyone!
