Just seen on Twitter the great Bobby "The Brain" Heenan has died aged 72 from throat cancer

One of the Best Managers and Announcers and Heels in the history of the WWF(WWE)

Tragic,charisma in spades,a super worker in his prime and his effortless comedy timing made his announcing partnership with Gorilla Monsoon pure gold on every occasion.RIP.

Like others have commented Bobby Heenan probably ranks as the best manager heels in all of wrestling history & his ring commentary banter with partner-in crime Gorilla Monsoon was comedy gold.Between them they could sell bad matches & commentate them as if they where 5 star matches,they were that good they could sell ice-cream to the Cornetto man,put simply Heenan & Gorilla are/were the best commentary team of all time (in my opinion).
I also remember when Bobby was being interviewed (I think it was WWE Hall of Fame) when speaking about Gorilla Monsoon (after the he passed away) & got emotional/choked up so much so I got a bit choked up myself listening to him.

A great loss to the world of wrestling.RIP Bobby Heenan.
