i have some questions..... where are the drunk hippy 'bitches', and seriously dude, smile more?

On a canal in hackney fucking loads of them...maybe there is a reason i don't smile like an anxiety disorder which really kicks in when around a lots of people also maybe i have bad teeth that im embarrassed about and i don't appreciate some random hippy coming up to me and telling me to smile i dont think she would have been happy if i walked up to her and told her to go have a wash.

ok try this, i have similar issues, i've started smiling at everybody. if they don't smile back or say hello, fuck them. they don't deserve your acknowledgment. but you are the better person. and in the great scheme of things, does it matter?

I watched Salvage Hunters last night, the guy went to a shop and spotted an item priced at £750, he told the shop owner "There is no profit for me at that price, can i have it for £600" The owner agreed to the price. He sold it later for £800.

Why the fuck would the shop take a £150 loss just so some bald cunt from the telly can make a £200 pofit?

Imagine going into a shop and saying "That Playstaton 5 is too expensive, can i have it for £300 please" You would get laughed out of the shop.

I think the clue there is "an item priced at £750". Was that what it was worth? What the shop owner paid for it? What his profit margin factored in? Maybe it had been sitting there for months, years? Maybe £600 now was better than £750 never?

The antiques business is dodgy as hell anyway. Apart from Bargain Hunt and Flog It, paragons of entertainment that they are Any industry still reliant on barter is going to be a bit olde-fashioned.

I wouldn't worry about the shop. They either bought it for £400 in the first place, or the tv producers slipped them the £150 to make the bald cunt look good
