New Years Honours List

Ex Post Office chief executive Paula Vennells should return her CBE that she was awarded in 2019.
She was in charge of the Post Office during the period that the Post Office wrongly convicted over 700 of their postmasters.

^ Actually she should be in jail. What they did to those sub-postmasters was criminal and the cover up a major conspiracy. She was the architect of much of the cover-up.

She's directly responsible for several Suicides. She should be left to rot in a very cold, dark place. Pure Evil.

Would there be people further up the Post Office chain from her, who were never fully investigated that SHOULD be investigated - or does the buck stop with her? The whole thing I think has completely changed the way the public support the Post Office and even now I do feel there are probably (or likely) people still in top jobs within the Post Office who knew exactly what was going on at the time who helped with the cover up who should be in jail with her also.

I believe there is a petition to strip her of it.

i would be surprised if any petitions to strip Venells of her CBE have reached over 100,000 today, I signed both that I found.
When you think about it the goverment probably knew what the fuck was going on and kept quiet and did nothing, and they give her a CBE probably to say 'thanks for a job well done'. I'd say the Honours list is fucked and way past it's best. If Starmer wins a election - when it happens - I damn well hope he totally reforms the system and strips every last crooked cronyism gong from those who didn't deserve them this year and makes sure people who deserve one for good services, selfless acts, etc gets one instead.

Also one of his first acts is to ensure she is put on trial swiftly and justice is done and eases the process for getting compensation or cases thrown out easier

Fairly standard stuff for the terminally incompetent with lots of cash. Go running to the likes of Carter-Ruck or Schillings and start throwing cease & desist letters around to try and save your "reputation".
