Watchmen

Episode 7 and some of the many weird strands are starting to knit together however, the last scene when Angela confronts her husband and then kills him?? Is he supposed to be Dr Manhattan? This is definitely more confusing than the film and made even more confusing by the 'trial' of Adrian Veidt(Ozymandias) - now that was just positively weird. I sincerely hope episode 8 answers a few more questions.

Episode 8-now it's beginning a bit more sense thanks to flashbacks and presumably all other questions will be answered. I have one other-does anyone know if this is destined for second season, and if so when can we expect to see it?

Hard to tell if there will be a second series. The showrunner said he himself won't be doing a second one but would be happy for someone else to take up the reigns. This is some chat about the potential for a series 2.

The fact that the showrunner seemingly didn't plan on making a second series suggests most if not all plot threads should come to a satisfactory conclusion.

I'm looking forward to that as I've enjoyed Watchmen, it's been a good "sequel" to the film. Episode 8 was excellent, especially in the way it answered some of the questions that arose throughout the show.

The series isn’t a sequel to the movie it references the film but I it’s a sequel to the comics.

Damon Lindelof and HBO have said there leaving the show as a single series event.
