RE: Everything 90's
Nice selection. I can't think of any offhand, unless the Harry Potter films count as 90's films?
I do remember that cinemas were in decline until the rise of the supercinema with more screens, a load more food to have and the demise of the Usherettes. Multi-screen multiplexes I think they were called and that seemed to spell the end of the major video cassette phenomenon which was slowly dying a death with CD's and DVDs appearing - even the much vaunted laserdisc faced an uneasy future.

The first three Harry Potter books were published in the 90s but the films didn't get a release until 2001.

I remember getting a Ritz(Blockbuster) membership card when I was 10 in 1992.That allowed me to rent any title up to the PG certificate.Smile

RE: Everything 90's
Ah right yes I only read the first two books so when I saw the films it didn't spoil it for me.
I honestly don't actually remember going to the cinema in the 90's but I am pretty sure all that lot listed probably didn't appeal to me-Were any of the Batman films around then? I do remember seeing one of those in a cinema full of kids which was an experience I don't wish to ever repeat(I was with two kids I'd taken to see it) I think HOOK was in the 90's which I really enjoyed.

Ah right good so I saw Batman Returns, Batman Forever with the kids, but not the last one as it was panned by the critics. Smile Cheers mate.

RE: Everything 90's
No problem mate.

Yes Forever and Batman & Robin made good money but were both terrible films.
Batman Returns was excellent in my view and utterly unique as it was actually just a strange Tim Burton fantasy film that happened to have Batman in it.

"DOES ANYONE ELSE HERE FEEL LIKE A FRIED EGG?" My favourite line in that film. Jim Carrey is brilliant in that film.
