The MAD GAME thread

Okay I did this on another forum many years ago and it proved quite popular but it will all depend on how many people contribute. Anyway here is the concept. This thread is called the Mad Game thread because it takes as its premise games, any board, computer or even card game and relies on being as mad as possible. For example say we start off with a board that is based on snakes and ladders-so throw an imaginary SIX and move six places to a ladder, follow that ladder up and then throw into the mix a hole that appears as you move next. How you get out is determined by the next player, so you as the next one might have a rocket pack in your pocket(told you it was MAD! ) and that is how you would get out.

You'll get the hang of it in the end but remember you can throw into this anything from any game like the cage from MOUSETRAP or you might have to move like a KNIGHT in chess to avoid another hazard.

Let's see how we go.
To start off-throw a six, done. Now I find myself on a CLUEDO board holding a smoking gun in the billiard room and a dead body at my feet. Problem is I didn't do it, so how do I get out and then what happens?...OVER TO YOU. Let's see if this works. If not, no matter.

A stick of dynamite and a shovel.

Excellent stuff BUT how do I light the dynamite-you never said I had any matches or a lighter and the billiard room is built on solid concrete so would a shovel be any good? If nothing else you have to think laterally on this thread so it should be fun to see how people think these out.

You find a box of matches in one of the pockets of the billiard table, but the strip to light the matches has been removed...the only surface which is rough enough to strike them is directly above your head.

On the assumption I interpreted the rules correctly which I doubt.........

Unfortunately you have been charged with criminal damage to the billiard room which was actually situated in a building on 'Fleet Street' square of the Monopoly board. This has been caused by the dymamite explosive force and by over exuberant use of the shovel.
You end up going to jail and not being able to pass go but to complicate matters somebody has nicked the dice and get out of jail free cards.
What is the next move?

Ah okay, so if it's Fleet Street I can send a letter to the publisher of a newspaper who can mount a campaign to get me out. BUT who did the murder? That is yet to be solved. Over to someone else to get me out of this! I think you might find that this is also puzzle solving as well-the dafter the better but you need to know there is a solution in order to move on.

Very nice chap called JJ Jamison got me out-trumped up charge with no evidence but the killer is still at large...the game is afoot. I come out of the building and down a side alley. I am confronted by a door and guarded by Pikachu-what now?

Might help if someone knows the game featuring Pokemon-not me, I've never played it. If you're really stuck someone else can start a new one.

Right let's start again. You are on a MONOPOLY board which comes to life and decide to move to the first railway station you come to-but where does that train take you? Oh yes and you've escaped from prison-you lost your get of jail free card and the police are on a manhunt for you (I did say several times that it was MAD!)
