the concept of bargain hunt is flawed because they go to a retail environment to try and get something to sell at Auction when its usally the other way round.

When there are so many other TV stations and subscription services available why the hell should anyone be forced to pay for a licence just so the BBC can continue to exist?

I'm just wondering how many of the current free-to-air channels would have much to show if they couldn't show repeats of shows originally made and funded by the BBC licence fee.

There are plenty of channels which have original programming, UK Gold seems to be the main outlet for old BBC shows.

Hmm... most of those channels have a few beeb shows but they also have plenty of shows from other places and are not totally reliant on old BBC programming.
