A little help please...
When I put my computer back on my McAfee brought up - Buffer Overflow - C:\\Windows\system32\DllHost.exe
It blocked any action, but I'm slightly confused by this, (as I'm far from being technically minded) any ideas/help would be appreciated, I'm assuming I've picked up some malware, but hoping that it's not the case.

Cheers,

Skully.

Whatever you do, do not delete anything in your System32 folder.

RE: A little help please...
It started up just fine, everything seems to be working normally (at the moment) and I think my McAfee has stopped any unauthorised changes etc...but I'm a little worried that this could be something harmful I've picked up, I've done a complete scan with both my McAfee and Windows Defender, they aren't picking up anything unusual, but I'm aware that they can't detect every malicious program.

A very helpful link, thanks mate, I'm hoping that his advice will work, I've already found and removed 5 adware items, so it looks quite promising Smile.

Thanks everyone, you're a great bunch Wink.

[Edit - swed thank you mate, I've just restarted my computer and Ex_Brit's advice has worked, problem solved!]
