Not before time. How his format lasted 14 years when so many other variants withered on the vine is another matter. He'll go back to local bloody radio. Somebody much-the-same will be presenting a much-the-same show in the Autumn, most likely.

Even Jerry Springer himself was smart enough to know that the 'Jeremy Springer Show' had a certain shelf-life & got out before the rot set in but tbh I'm surprised The Jeremy Kyle Show lasted the 14-15 year span it did.It's a format that has always been shitty,exploitative TV that costs very little in production value that fills TV space.I'm all for reality based shows where there is an emphasis on discovering genuine talent (less so on endless singing shows).But I've always been against shows like Jeremy Kyle, Love Island,Big Brother,TOWIE (& it's various different spin-offs) because these shows give false expectations to teenagers & young children to forget about education & career prospects & instead pursue a TV reality star career.
They say 'everybody deserves 5 minutes of fame' but The Kyle Show isn't one of them.

Regarding The Jeremy Kyle Show & the few episodes I've seen of it coupled with various articles I've read on it & various interviews from former guests & celebrities who've appeared previously on the show giving interviews on the news etc it's clear to see various guests haven't been properly vetted before being exploited on the show.I've read comments that many guests are deliberately agitated 'backstage' that leads them to be to pent up with anger before appearing on stage & being constantly poked at & humiliated by Kyle to make things even worse.Even the most sane of people in the world if constantly poked fun at & humiliated would eventually lose their rag at some point & that is what Kyle & co are there to do.If you kept a dog confined to a locked cage kept shouting abuse at it,with a baying crowd laughing at it, continuously poke a big stick at it then that dog will eventually bite back,the same with people.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Breakfast television beckons Jerry methinks, put him on with Piers, at least we will have all the crap in the one show, the two smarmy cunts trying to cut each other's throats with a bit of luck
