That probably has been coming for a while, and if they win the title next season they can't compete. Good!! Imagine 606 over the w/end will be lively and full of the City cunts complaining they have been unfairly treated, when you shouldn't have tried to buy your way to the bloody title in the first place, should you?

That probably hands Liverpool the title on a plate now, But I seriously doubt the PL will deduct enough points to make them start next season facing a relegation fight as the Saudis will threaten to sue them and probably will cause the PL to back down and nothing happens.

At least the battle for fifth place will be hotting up nicely after that 0-0 draw last night. Again VAR ruins a match They definitely need to revert back to the old offside rule which would make the offside rule a lot clearer to the VAR morons, the margins for offside these days are just ridiculous and checked for offside in the build up play before Wolves scored!!

The old offside rule as I remember it was thst if there is clear daylight between attacker and last defender, then you are offside!!

I don't know why people mention "daylight" in relation to offside. It's NEVER been a part of the offside rule, the word has never appeared in any rule book, it's simply not a thing.

The Premier League teams have asked for the VAR offside line to be thickened by 10 cm for next season which will allow for some of those extremely marginal calls to be given as goals, but there will always be very tight decisions given as offside, people just need to accept it and move on. All the teams agreed on VAR at the start of the season and knew these tight offside calls would happen. It's only the first year of use in the PL, it will improve.

Pep was quoted as saying that if Man City were thrown all the way down to League 2 he'd stay at City, I bet he wouldn't stay if they were dumped in the National League and the average attendance away was less than 5,000, and the odd place where it was 1 man and his dog!! Gary Neville thinks City could overturn the ban and said that he wasn't a fan of the UEFA FFP rules. I think if UEFA really need to show their teeth and they are serious with this and very much hope that the ban is upheld and the CAS throw Man City's case out. I would love to see Pep's reaction at arriving at probably say Barnet's stadium on cold wet Saturday afternoon!! There is talk of a fresh probe in City's dealings with Abu Dhabi sponsors.

Should City stripped of their PL titles? I would say yes but I would also say that it is maybe also far better for the PL to state that they no longer 'recognise the title wins by City in the period covered by FFP investigation'. I think if they were stripped of the titles I think the teams that finished second in those seasons probably will say that those titles are tainted and are not worth anything to them now. I am sure many of you probably have a different view on this issue alone. What has to be the key argument that would make the CAS throw out City's case nd uphold the ban?

Is it possible that were City to over turn the ban that UEFA could even investigate the PL in general? If they did it certainly would remind me of the period when English clubs wee banned in Europe following the Heysel riots and if they did so could they enforce a repeat of such a ban now?
