Actually, Brunt has retired from Test Cricket, & is still available for selection in T20, & 50 over International cricket.

^ Enjoyable watch so far as well! England's bowling yesterday was more than a good watch. Didn't always get the reward for the quality on show at all times, but the skills that were brought to bare had the ball 'talking'. I wish it was like this more often in the men's game. Somehow, the occasions that such bowling is put on show in the mans game, is diminishing?? On the Proteas side, Kapps innings was a joy!!

Brilliant stand between Sciver & Davidson- Richards, but poor game awareness from the later, to get out to a ball that should've been left alone in the last over of the day.

Indeed! Not exclusive to the women that! Headless chicken syndrome often inflicts the men. I am pretty sure she had received a pep talk about just that before hand, but sometimes that 'voice' in your head proves impossible to ignore. As a brief aside, I hope the men were watching the over rates, and how the women managed to get through the allotted overs without falling behind. The blokes can't bowl 90 (Maybe not a big deal..but still) and the girls are bowling 100 in good time more often than not!

A real shame the Women's Test was impacted by the weather so much! Enough evidence however, to make the case for a fifth day and an increase in the number of Tests played overall - unarguable!

Has anyone spotted a glaring anomaly in the scoring system for this multi points series?? Should a team win the test, and two of the 50 over 0di's but lose the remaining odi and the three 'baseball' T20's, the overall scores are tied?? That is utter nonsense. To put winning all the T20's and one of the three ODI's on a par with winning a test match and and two proper limited over contests, makes no sense at all!!

Great ODI win over South Africa, as England bowl them out for 218, & chase it down with almost 18 overs to spare. Brunt still has a role in white-ball side, as her 3 wickets proves. A find all-round display from Sciver, with 4 wickets & a half-century. A fine century from Emma Lamb, as she looks to establish herself in the opener slot.

^^ Bossing the ODI today too!! Currently 334 - 4 heading for a massive one again! A shame that S.A batting efforts in terms of Kapp and her ability in particular, is so often let down in the field!

Great to see the Women's game on FTA again. This young side are starting to shape up, beating South Africa again, for a 3-0 series win in the T20's.
The exposure given to the new players in the Women's Hundred, has given them a good step up into international cricket.
