Ultimate Babe 2019 playoff for the last place in the last 8

Kind of rooting for Sophie now a lot, and based upon the fact that I had Beth in top 8 and no place for Sophie, my choice should be Beth. But, I realise Sophie SHOULD absolutely have been in my top 8.

So, (drumroll...), my vote goes to... Sophie

In the event of a tie in FUTURE knockout rounds it may be best to say whichever babe qualified for the knockout phase with more nominations wins.
If this Beth-Sophie match ends up a tie then there is one possible solution but I will leave that for if and when it occurs.

This is why I think that we need a consultation in 2020 to determine what votes take place (I personally feel that we should limit the main votes in order to maintain/increase their stature. Too many votes devalue them all). I also am in favour of standardising how the votes are run i.e. all to have the same the same format - at the moment it's as though in the General election we have some seats won under first past the post and some by proportional representation)

The work done by those who run the votes should be celebrated for the effort they put in and not questioned.

I don't necessarily disagree with that. It is a perfectly rational idea.
The only thing I would say is part of the fun of running comps is having the power to devise the format. Comps are a bit of an 'It's my baby' type thing.
But I totally take your point.

^ Many of our thoughts overlap but I'm not in favour of the person running the vote determining the rules and like Stemmw said he was disappointed in the number of votes in the ones he ran. I'd like to see a much higher number of members vote for a set of competitions that for this forum have real credibility.

At this stage though I repeat that an open consultation in 2020 would give all members the chance to air their views so that we can move forward on a consensual basis.
