RE: Players Championship
Kyren Wilson beat Ryan Day 6-1

Stuart Bingham beat Judd Trump 6-5

Bingham had 2 tilts at maximums but fluffed his lines on both occasions.

RE: Players Championship
I ended up watching that 11th frame, even though Trump seemed spent and missed every pocket by miles.

Bingham - the "triple crown" winner with 6 ranking title wins.

Neil Robertson beat the surprised-he-was-there Lu Ning, and Jack Lisowski saw off Martin Gould.

RE: Players Championship
Ronnie edged Ding in a decider (bit of a rough draw for them both), and Zhou Yuelong lost a decider to Barry Hawkins.

Jordan Brown crashed back to Earth on the end of a John Higgins whitewashing.

Phil Yates suggested that tonight's Bingham-Hawkins bore-fest was their first meeting since 2000? In which case I can only echo the old joke: "why must they do it so often?"

Kyren Wilson put paid to Neil Robertson's silly hairstyle.

And Ronnie battered Jack Lisowski.

RE: Players Championship
John Higgins stormed into the semi finals with a quite ridiculous performance to see off Mark Selby 6-0.
Selby scored only 7 points in the match.
A world record low in a best of 11 at professional level.

The Scot has not dropped a frame so far in either of his two matches and plays Kyren Wilson tomorrow for a place in the final.

Tonight it's O'Sullivan v Hawkins for the other final spot.

RE: Players Championship
It throws the light back on John, after he beat Jordan we all said "oh poor Jordan blah blah", didn't really mention John.

If he thumps Kyren 6-0 as well, that will be something.

Barry Hawkins got a 3-0 lead over Ronnie, but still ended up losing 6-4.
