Credit to Kyren, after he lost the 5th by a point after a clearance, he must have wondered if he was going the same way as the others.

First Higgins-O'Sullivan final since 2005 or something apparently. John won that one 9-2.

Barry Hawkins managed to edge out Yan the Man.

I note ITV's coverage ad break things always feature Tubs Murphy's fat grinning face as he holds up a trophy, regardless of whether he's in the tournament involved. Yes, this is another petty whinge.
