Thursdays Ravens Browns game was a classic. The lead changed from one side to the other late in the game, with the game tied at 42-42, the Ravens had just enough time to move the ball into field-goal range & take the lead with second remaining.
That left just enough time for a crazy finish to the game with the Browns freestyling it with numerous laterals, with the ball finally going out the back of their own end-zone for a safety.

You have to ask what has happened to both the 49'rs and the Patriots this year.
Big things were expected from the 49'rs after a couple of years of improvement. But injuries to key players (and Jimmy Garoppolo) have badly affected the team performance. They will never be a title contentor until they get a new quarterback.

However at the Patriots. Brady left (or was pushed) and they decided to put big money into a known scrambling quarterback in Cam Newton. But he's failed to hit his receiver targets and for some reason he's stopped running with the ball himself.
Also they have yet to find a quality replacement for Gronkowski and their best receiver Julian Edelman has been out injured for most of the session.

At least both teams with have a chance to improve their squads in the draft next year.

^^ Niners beat the Cardinals & did your team a big favour Rammy. The Bears Playoff hopes are still alive if the win their 2 remaining fixtures, thanks to a tiebreaker over Phoenix.
SF showed a lot of guts & pride, with nothing to gain. Beathard made his first start for 2 years & was 1-9 as starting QB. He kept mistakes down to a minimum, threw 3 TD's (2 to Juszczyk) & linked up well with his ex-college team-mate, Kittle in his 1st game back. he was also aided by a great day on the ground for Wilson, with only his 2nd 100+ rushing game.
A 20-12 score-line was closer than it might have been, Niners kicker Gould broke his streak of 31 field-goals inside 50 yards & went on to miss an extra-point & another field-goal on a day he'd rather forget.

Both the Steelers and the Chief win ugly.
The Steelers by 4 point and the Chiefs by 3 points.

Also it's been announced that next session there is going to be one extra match.
This will be offset by one less pre- session match.

And the Bears won comfortably 41-17 over Jacksonville SmileSmile so as long as Chicago match Arizona’s result next Sunday, Chicago will be in the playoffs given the Bears have the tie-break over Arizona. Plus Green Bay will possibly be resting players next week
