Like Chrisst I always thought it was the producer writing on the chat, but the name gallery does suggest it's the controller doing it.

I guess we're talking about 'slips' here, rather than any kind of non-compliant producing. In other words, if something accidental happens (wardrobe malfunction for example) and it still gets broadcast then that is down to the logoman for failing to cut it out. His job and his responsibility, although I guess it's impossible to catch every slip that happens. But if the show is non-compliant due to negligence on the part of the producer (or some kind of risk taking) than that is obviously down to the producer himself. Nobody other than the producer can be held responsible for non-compliant producing.

It looks like the boxes are gone from the screens now and they are making do with just the 'xxxxx is backstage' messages.

I wonder if it's not due to a specific studio controller or them trying to shoehorn in a 5th presenter ( Heather Kay being on webcam)
Notice how the PIP presenter (Mikki B ?) has her own stream anyway.
Could they not just be happy with 3 girls: blonde, brunette and redhead presented without interference.
